영화에 나오는 영상을 찾지 못한게 안타깝다...
When the Earth was still flat
지구가 평평하던 때
And Clouds made of fire
불구름이 떠다니고
And mountains stretched up to the sky
하늘까지 솟은 산과
Sometimes higher
더 높은 산이 있고
Folks roamed the Earth
Like big rolling kegs
사람들은 나무통처럼 지구를 굴러다니며
They had two sets of arms
두 쌍의 팔
They had two sets of legs
두 쌍의 다리와
They had two faces peering
Out of one giant head
큰 머리 양 쪽에 두 개의 얼굴을 가지고 있었어
So they could watch all around them
양 쪽 세상도 다 볼 수 있었고
As they talked while they read
읽으면서 말할 수 있었고
And they never knew nothing of love
사랑이란 단어조차 몰랐어
It was before the The origin of love
그 것은 바로 사랑의 시작을 몰랐을 때

그 땐 3개의 성이 있었지
One that looked like two men

포크와 스푼이 붙은 것 같은 달의 아이들이 있었지
They was part sun, part Earth,
한쪽은 해 한쪽은 달
Part daughter, part son
한쪽은 아들 한쪽은 딸인...

Now the gods grew quite scared
Of our strength and defiance
신들은 우리의 힘과 반항을 두려워 하기 시작했지
And Thor said
Thor(천둥)신은 말했어.
"I'm gonna kill them all with my hammer
Like I killed the giants"
"내 망치로 거인을 죽이듯 모두 죽이리라"
But Zeus said
그 때 제우스가 말했지
"No, you better let me
Use my lighting like scissors
내가 내 번개가위-_-;로 그들을 혼내주리
Like I cut the legs off the whales
Dinosaurs into lizards"
고래의 다리를 자르고 공룡을 도마뱀으로 만들었듯이"
And then he grabbed up some bolts
그리곤 번갯불을 꺼내
He let out a laugh
크게 웃으며
Said, "I'll split them right down the middle.
Gonna cut them right up in half."
"가운데를 자르리, 딱 반으로..."라고 했지
And then storm clouds gathered above
Into great balls of fire
곧 먹구름이 모여 거대한 불이 되었고
And then fire shot down
From the sky in bolts
천둥번개가 하늘에서 내리쳤지
Like shining blades of a knife
번뜩이는 칼날처럼
And it ripped right through
육체의 한 가운데를 갈라버렸어
the flesh of the children of the sun
And the moon And the earth
해의 아이들 달의 아이들 땅의 아이들 차례로...
And some Indian god
어떤 인도 신은
Sewed the wound up into a hole,
Pulled it round to our bellies
To remind us of the price we pay
배 둘레를 꿰매 배꼽을 만들어 우리 죄를 상기시켰고
And Osiris and the gods of the Nile
오리시스와 나일의 신들은
Gathered up a big storm
To blow a hurricane
거대한 폭풍우로 허리케인을 만들어
To scatter us away, In a flood of wind and rain
And a sea of tidal waves, To wash us all away
우리를 흩어지게 했어. 바람, 비, 홍수, 파도의 조수로 우리를 쓸어 내리고
And if we don't behave They'll cut us down again
